The GPBA Welcomes You to Preston Idaho and Franklin County!
Preston, Idaho, located in Franklin County, is a great place to visit. With many unique things to do and see, the scenery is beautiful and the activities are beautiful. Most importantly, it is one of the best places in the world to live and raise a family. People here are very friendly and helpful. We have great schools, a wonderful library, trained medical personel and facilities, and compassionate government, all of whom are ready and willing to help. Recreation is all around us, and the arts are strong part of our community. Everything you need for a well balanced life is right here, including a wide variety of religious groups and activities.
The Greater Preston Business Association is a relatively new organization with the goal to help businesses be more successful. We believe that a strong business community helps the whole community prosper. In connection with this idea, we are kicking off a new “SHOP LOCAL FIRST” campaign. We are asking everyone, business owners and customers alike, to check Franklin County for goods and services. We believe that you will be amazed and pleased at what is available here. As we all do this, businesses will prosper, employment will increase and tax dollars will stay here to help schools, roads, and public services. Simply put, we will all benefit together.
We have yard signs and window stickers available at no charge with our new campaign slogan. So, let’s all pitch in and help with this campaign. Put up signs, put it on Facebook, talk it up with your friends, and above all, practice, practice, practice, until we are all participating and Shopping Local First.
